Research

In my research on strategic communication, I explore how speakers adjust their language choices based on the communicative goals they seek to achieve. Lately, I have been interested in multimodal strategies (manual co-speech gestures and speech), as well as the influence of cognitive biases on the way we produce and comprehend language.
